As U.S. Travel Chaos Begins To Ease, European Airports Are Facing Summer Passenger Surges



Airline and airport workers are on strike across Europe, demanding better pay. Airports are facing hour-long delays, staff shortages and long lines as summer passenger volumes surge. Meanwhile in the U.S., there were far fewer cancellations over the 4th of July weekend in comparison to Memorial Day or Father’s Day weekends. Still, one out of every five flights is delayed.
